doing her "activities" on the trip. She was a little ADHD with the activities. Each one lasted about 3 minutes and then she wanted to pick a new one. I'm hoping if we play with them a little at home before our big drive out to CO she will do better. Im sure Im not the first one to think of this but I thought it was pretty clever. I laminated and put magnets on the back of her sheets and cards. She could then use a dry erase marker and a cookie sheet to practice her letters, name, and tracing over and over again.
Luke was a good boy for most of the trip....45 minutes of crying on the way to Pitt we could have all lived without.
picnic dinner at a rest stop! It felt good to get out of the car! Ella loved having a picnic.
We drove Thursday to Pittsburgh to break up the driving to Gettysburg. Our first stop was to see where the Ohio River starts. There was a very nice park that we walked around.

The incline railway.
The Steelers stadium
She's my baby girl
My boys....perfect in every way (well almost)
Second stop was the Pittsburgh Natural History Museum. It has the dinosaur exhibit we have ever seen. We thought London's was pretty awesome, but this one hands down wins! So many fossils and so many cool exhibits.
Ella got to be a paleontologist for the afternoon. She loved digging for dinosaurs with daddy.
She was asking me what my address was and writing me a letter. It was so cute!

3rd stop was Primanti's Brothers. A quick family picture at the Sandwich shop! It was okay, nothing that great in my opinion. Could have been bc I just ate the coleslaw, which was very yummy, but didn't eat a whole sandwich.....back in the van for 4 more hours....goodness!!!
