Swimming in the pool. Her favorite part of the day. Ella and I would go swimming every morning before meeting Bill for lunch around 1130. She loved it!
After just a couple times in the pool with her lifejacket (anyone under 5 has to wear one, they had a drowning last Dec. with a little one, SO SCARY!!!) she was ready to go swimming on her own. She loved it.
Daddy finally got to join the fun one night before bedtime.

They had a free merry-go-round so needless to say we were here A LOT!!! I think at least 20 rides a day. She loved going down to play and I loved having a little starbucks and watching her smile.
The last week of August Bill had a weather conference in Garmish, Germany. Edelweiss is a military resort. Only active duty and retire military can use the resort. They have other resorts around the world too. Japan and Hawaii are looking like some fun ones to visit. It was wonderful. Bill had all his meals included for his conference so we didn't get a chance to eat too much German foods (but thats okay since it's so unhealthy for you, 3 days of eating it was enough for me). We had a great time and is sad that we wont be able to go again next year.
